Despite its name, there was never a Volume I edition, nor is this the second general knowledge release from Trivial Pursuit. After putting out Genus I and Genus II editions, Horn Abbot inexplicably released this set, which features the same categories as the Genus sets. Interestingly, Volume II is more difficult than any of the five Genus releases, which range from 1981 to 2001. There wouldn't be another "Volume" release until Volume VI, in 2003.
